1. Competence to be Acheived

 

 

  • This course is designed for the itinerant first time seafarer, as well as experienced seafarers who have not been assigned designated security duties on board ship.
  • The necessary skills and knowledge will be imparted to make them aware of the security systems implemented on board a ship.
  • They will be sufficiently familiar with these systems and will also be made aware of where to access additional information to broaden this basic knowledge.
